Toyota continues to grow its presence in North Texas – this time with a distribution center.
Toyota Motor Sales USA LLC – the sales, marketing, and distribution arm of the giant international automaker – has leased a new distribution center in Lewisville.
The new 121,188-square-foot building is at 121 Riverview Crossing.
Illinois-based ML Realty Partners developed the building.
"We’re pleased to welcome Toyota to 121 Riverview Crossing and support their business growth within our portfolio," ML Realty vice president Matthew Smith said in a statement. "The property is located within five minutes of the ongoing development occurring at Legacy West and the $5 Billion Mile."
Melissa Holland of commercial property firm JLL negotiated the lease with Dan Spika and Jim Breitenfeld of Henry S. Miller.
Toyota’s new North American headquarters is located in the Legacy West development in Plano, just east of the new distribution site.
Another Toyota subsidiary – Toyota Industries Commercial Finance Inc. – has an office in the Cypress Waters development near LBJ Freeway and Belt Line Road.
